Space4Us Group Programs

What is the Space4Us Program about?

  • This group is for young people who have a parent, older sibling, or other adult family member who has a mental illness.

  • Talking about mental illness and mental health can be tricky, but we know it helps a lot when you and important people in your life understand ‘it’ more.

  • Space4us is a group for young people aged 12-18 years (secondary school). The group helps kids learn more about mental health and how it affects families. We look at different ways to help us chill out and take care of ourselves. It’s also a great way to make new friends with other young people with similar experiences.

  • There are plenty of fun activities to enjoy, as well as free food!

  • We’ll even help with transport if you’re stuck (sorry no rockets).
